Bachelor in Management
3rd year
The third year of the Bachelor in Management at ISTEC is a year of specialization and advanced professional development. It allows students to refine their career plans by choosing a major in management, communication, marketing, finance, innovation, or international business, while leveraging all the skills acquired during the first two years.
This final year of the Bachelor’s program aims to strengthen students’ operational expertise, strategic analysis skills, and autonomy. It prepares students directly for entering the job market or for pursuing further studies at the Master’s level.
Depending on the chosen track, the program can be completed through a work-study program or full-time study, with immersive professional experiences in companies, either in France or internationally.
CURRICULUM
Program
The third year of the Bachelor in Management corresponds to the final stage of the Bachelor’s program and represents a total of 60 ECTS credits, spread over two semesters. It validates the acquisition of the skills necessary to obtain a state-recognized Bac+3 level diploma registered with the RNCP at level 6.
This year is structured around a dual objective: to consolidate transferable skills in management and business administration, while allowing for progressive specialization in an area of expertise chosen by the student.
Academic instruction is complemented by a work-study placement, fostering the immediate application of knowledge and the development of a strong managerial approach.
The program includes advanced modules in strategy, marketing, communication, finance, data analysis, digital tools, and the international economic environment. It also strengthens professional communication skills in French and English, as well as the ability to lead complex projects and formulate strategic recommendations.
The year is structured around continuous assessments, applied projects, case studies, and the writing and defense of a professional thesis related to the chosen specialization. This academic structure allows students to validate all the expected skills while building a practical profile, ready to enter the job market or pursue a master’s degree.
Focus on Specializations
The third year of the Bachelor’s program is the specialization year.
Each student chooses a major corresponding to their career goals from among: Marketing & Sales, Communication & Influence, Finance & Law, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, International & Geopolitics, or Management & HR.
Through a work-study program, students put their skills into practice in their chosen specialization, manage real-world projects within companies, and deepen their professional expertise. This immersion allows them to develop their autonomy, solidify their professional approach, and prepare for concrete responsibilities in their future careers.
