The first year of the Bachelor in Management (English Track) is a pivotal year, laying the foundation for your academic and professional journey. This program guides students in the progressive acquisition of digital, analytical, and communication skills in English, while developing the autonomy and critical thinking necessary to thrive in an international context.
Students explore various aspects of the professional world, are introduced to the fundamentals of management, strategy, and entrepreneurship, and discover research and data analysis methods. Language instruction, in both English and French, is geared towards real-world professional situations, preparing students to communicate effectively in international and multicultural environments.
CURRICULUM
The Program
Semester 1 introduces students to digital tools, data collection and analysis, and research methodology applied to small projects. They develop their professional communication skills in English and French and begin building their professional portfolios.
Semester 2 focuses on leveraging data for more in-depth studies, implementing research methodologies, developing applied language skills, and understanding ethical principles and responsibility. Students are also introduced to the fundamentals of strategy and entrepreneurial project design, with an emphasis on practical application and professional experience.
Project Focus & Professionalization
From the first year, students participate in interdisciplinary projects that draw upon the skills acquired in the core curriculum. These projects include data analysis, the production of professional documents, oral presentations, and the design of mini-entrepreneurial projects.
The professional portfolio is built progressively, allowing each student to structure their academic and professional identity while putting the theoretical concepts studied in class into practice.
