Istec Business School provides high-quality training for its students in business, marketing, and management. By posting a work-study, internship, or part-time fixed-term/permanent contract offer to the school, companies can gain access to motivated and dynamic students, ready to put their classroom knowledge into practice.
By participating in our 100% free recruitment processes, companies can benefit from increased visibility within the student community and the Istec ecosystem, thereby strengthening their employer brand.
This contract is a three-way agreement between the school, the student, and the company represented by its OPCO (Skills Operator). It allows the student to benefit from employee status and all associated salary benefits. Training costs are covered by the company, which is supported by its OPCO.

Fixed-term and permanent contracts with alternating periods of work and training are accepted if they stipulate a work-study schedule aligned with training programs. These contracts are subject to the company’s Human Resources department. The minimum wage is the hourly minimum wage.

To support students wishing to pursue work-study programs, we offer various events throughout the year. Our mission is to ensure that every student is placed in a company and in a position that suits them. We do everything we can to ensure that every prospective work-study student has all the tools they need to succeed in their search and find a placement.
These workshops allow students to review their job search and optimize their CV and cover letter. We make it a point to have a recruiter participate in each workshop to introduce students to recruitment techniques and prepare them for different types of interviews. Several times a year, ISTEC students are invited to meet with partner companies offering apprenticeships, internships, and fixed-term contracts at job fairs, either in person or remotely. Taking on a student is an opportunity for us to grow and help others grow at the same time. The goal is certainly to benefit from temporary support, but it’s also about preparing for the future by investing in the student’s training and skills development, thus facilitating their recruitment on a permanent contract within the company. Finally, it’s particularly enriching for us to benefit from the fresh perspective of younger generations, with their updated practices, ideas, and tools.
The strength of a team lies in the diversity of its members. In a small team of seniors over 50, having an 18-20 year old and listening to them forces us to think differently, to consider another perspective, to diversify our opinions. Initially, it’s a significant time investment. Naturally, they know nothing at the start and have everything to learn. This is why interpersonal skills are fundamental. But what a challenge it is for each of us on the team! This constant need to re-explain and rephrase things from scratch forces us to realize that, no, not everything is automatic. If the newcomer doesn’t understand, it’s because we haven’t explained it well, and consequently, we’re communicating poorly with clients, suppliers, partners… The learning is mutual.
