Programme Erasmus+
A European Week of Creativity, Collaboration, and Social Impact at ISTEC
From October 28th to November 1st, ISTEC was pleased to host 60 students from 9 European universities, representing 15 nationalities, as part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Innovation in Society.”
This week-long immersion brought together students from diverse academic backgrounds (business, communication, design, IT) to collaboratively develop socially impactful innovation projects, fostering international cooperation and cultural diversity.
🌍 Europe at the Service of Social Innovation
Divided into 10 multidisciplinary teams, participants worked on concrete issues related to health, safety, sport, urban mobility, well-being, and social inclusion. Guided by professors and mentors from partner universities, they learned to combine their skills, cultures, and perspectives to generate innovative and responsible ideas.
Throughout the week, the program alternated between creativity workshops, design thinking sessions, inspiring conferences, and collaborative group work, allowing each team to develop an original and meaningful project.
💬 A Human and Intercultural Adventure
Beyond the academic framework, this week was a truly enriching human and European experience. The students were able to discover Paris and its rich cultural heritage through visits, dinners, and social gatherings, often organized by the participants themselves. These exchanges strengthened group cohesion and forged lasting bonds between young Europeans who share a common desire to challenge the status quo.
🚀 An inspiring and forward-looking conclusion
On the final day, the teams presented their projects during a pitch session before a jury of teachers and experts. The presentations highlighted the students’ boldness, creativity, and commitment to addressing contemporary societal challenges. The jury, inspired by the quality and diversity of the proposals, praised the teams’ ability to transform their ideas into concrete and relevant concepts. This presentation marked the culmination of a week rich in learning, encounters, and inspiration.
