The General Rules on the Protection of Information (GRPI) from the European Union is the most recent update on regulating the protecting of individuals’ personal information. These rules concern the way information is gathered, used, recorded, stocked and/or deleted. At any time, users can ask for this information and change their various options, whether that be an update or a delete. These rules exist as of May 25, 2018.

The information collected on this site is recorded in the ISTEC I.T. files and our providers who manage our candidates, students and holders of a diploma. In the hands of the administrative service of ISTEC, they are kept for at least 5 years after the last usage.

When using our web site, you will be lead to giving some information that can identify you: “Personal Information”. This is the case when you fill in a form (for example, an exam enrolment form), a request for a contact or a subscription to our newsletter.

We do not collect any of your sensitive information. The latter is considered to be: ethnic or racial origins, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, information on health or sexual orientation. Should any of the above information be communicated somehow to ISTEC, it will be destroyed.
In agreement with current legislation and with your own agreement when requested, we might use data available on your site for prospection, e.g. sending newsletters, e-mailing our events’ invitations or any other communication which could be of interest to you, such as a TEXT reminder, for instance, for participating in a contest or suchlike.

The information you send us is used by various ISTEC administration services (communication, admission, school reception, pedagogy, company relations, accountancy).

Please note that these web sites have their own policies of confidentiality and we thus decline all responsibility for information gathered when you click on those links. We keep your personal data for at least 5 years.
We do not keep the data of your credit/bank cards on our server.
